Kingdom Rush 6 tower stats compared

The in-game book shows a tower’s first level. Here are all of them at level IV, where you actually fight with them. Of the towers whose basic attack comes down to one number, Sentry Watchtower hits hardest at about 49 damage a second, which also makes it the best value for the gold, and Royal Catapult reaches furthest.

Damage per second at level IV

Average basic-attack damage divided by the time between attacks, one target, before armor and before any skill.

Bar colour: blue for magic, gold for explosive, brown for physical.

Why DPS is not the whole answer

  • Physical (cut by armor): Archer Garrison, Cursed Crossbows, Elven Elite Ranger, Sentry Watchtower.
  • Magic (cut by magic resistance): Arcane Forger, Light Priestess, Scholar Mage, Sunray Master.
  • Explosive (cut by armor, at a lower rate): Dwarven Culverin, Ironbark Treant, Royal Catapult.
  • True (ignores both): Alchemist Shack.

A Dark Knight shrugs off 80% of physical damage, so against it a magic tower with half the DPS still wins. The hardest enemies page matches each armored or magic-proof enemy with the towers that get through. Splash is left out too: the artillery and the Arcane Forger hit every enemy in a small circle, so a crowd multiplies their number.

Not in the chart:

  • Alchemist Shack: damages through puddles that keep burning, so one hit is not the whole story.
  • Cursed Crossbows: fires a volley of three bolts per attack, and how long the volley takes is not published, so a per-second figure would be a guess.
  • Gold Prospectors: digs gold rather than attacking; its miners fight, but that is not a tower shot.
  • Ironbark Treant: has two attack modes with different damage, so no single per-second figure fits it.
  • Knights Order: a barracks: its soldiers do the fighting, so there is no tower shot to measure.
  • Sunray Master: has two attack modes with different damage, so no single per-second figure fits it.
  • Wildcat Huntresses: a barracks: its soldiers do the fighting, so there is no tower shot to measure.

Paid towers on mobile

1 of the five highest-DPS towers is one the mobile apps sell. The paid towers add different jobs rather than bigger numbers, which is why players argue about whether to buy them. On Steam and Play Pass every tower is included; the price page has what they cost in the paid app.

Numbers are for level IV before the Upgrades room and before the level IV skills, which the tower pages list level by level with their cooldowns.
