Classic Rush

The whole campaign again, played the way the first Kingdom Rush was: the original four tower lines with their original upgrade paths, one hero, and only Rain of Fire and Reinforcements.

The rules

  • One hero, and it can be any hero you own, not only the first game’s.
  • Towers from the first game only, with their old upgrade paths. The fifteen Genesis towers are not available.
  • Two spells, Rain of Fire and Reinforcements.
  • It pays 1.5× the XP of a Campaign run, the most of any mode.
Play through the entire campaign using the classic Kingdom Rush tower lineup, complete with their original upgrade paths. Being faithful to the first game's experience, you’ll also command a single hero and rely on the iconic Reinforcements and Rain of Fire spells as you defend the kingdom once again.
Just like the old days: 1 Hero, and the classic spell combo of Rain of Fire and Reinforcements. Unlike the old days, you can pick any hero from the roster, which includes Gerald, Malik, Bolin, Ignus, and others who are all returning from the past, but also fresh new heroes.
Back to where it all began. Play the entire campaign using the original Kingdom Rush arsenal: 8 classic towers, 2 iconic spells, and a single hero. A challenge for seasoned veterans!

Gerald’s helmet

In the launch-week devlog Ironhide answered a long-running request, whether Gerald could have his helmet back, by telling players to take him into Classic Rush and see. Gerald’s page has the rest of his kit.
