Kingdom Rush 6 Impossible difficulty
Impossible opens at 60 stars. Against Normal, the typical enemy has 1.61× the health, from 1.20× for the Demon Lord to 3.75× for the Goblin, everything moves about 10% faster, and 17 enemies have an ability that changes: more often, further, longer or in bigger numbers. In return every hero and spell earns 1.5× the XP.

The biggest health jumps
The biggest jumps are among the regular enemies, several of them to more than double their Normal health. Most bosses grow less than the typical enemy, though not all of them. The bar is Impossible health as a multiple of Normal.

Abilities that change on Impossible
The part in bold is the Impossible value; the rest is how it works on the other difficulties.
Broom · Transformed by Nivus
In stage 6, Nivus transforms up to 5 enemies into Brooms for 10 seconds before they revert. A Broom retains 60% of the original enemy's current and maximum health, has speed 20 (22 on Impossible), and drops the original enemy's gold reward when defeated.
Crowcaller · Periodically summons crows
Every 6 seconds, it summons 1 Crow (2 on Impossible), capping at 10 Crows on the battlefield at once, and stops summoning once near the exit; summoned Crows yield no gold.
Dark Disciple · Binds and disables towers
It flings its grimoire at a nearby tower (within 240, or 300 on Impossible), binding it so the tower is unable to attack until either the Dark Disciple dies or it gets farther than 240 (300 on Impossible) away.
Dark Slayer · Chance to instakill player units
Every 10 seconds, it has a 30% chance (40% on Impossible) to instantly kill the soldier it is fighting; heroes are immune to this.
Frost Brute · Freezes units with its breath
Every 35 seconds (16 on Impossible), if a unit is within a radius of 110, it breathes frost on units within a radius of 110, dealing 20-30 physical damage every 0.5 seconds for 1 second and freezing them for 6 seconds.
Frost Herald · Casts icicles over units
Every 15 seconds (10 on Impossible), it drops 4 rows of 3 icicles onto units 50 to 150 away, each icicle dealing 20-40 magic damage within a radius of 25.
Gargoyle · When near death, it turns into stone and heals
One time only, when its health would drop below 60, including from a lethal hit (unless killed outright or eaten), it instead survives at 60 health, petrifies, and recovers 7.5 health every 0.25 seconds for 4 seconds (6 on Impossible).
Headhunter · Instakills enemies at low health
Every 6 seconds, it instantly kills the unit it is engaged with if that unit's health is at or below 25% (40% on Impossible).
Orc Shaman · Heals enemy units
Every 8 seconds, if at least 2 enemies within a radius of 100 have fallen below 70% health, it conjures a healing aura with a radius of 100 lasting 1 second, restoring 60-80 health per second (135-180 on Impossible) to enemies inside it.
Shadow Blades · Near death, throws smoke bombs that hide enemies
If its health drops below 20% while away from the exit, it hurls a smoke bomb and disappears from combat; for 3 seconds (5 on Impossible), enemies within the smoke's radius of 60 evade every attack.
Spider Matriarch · Lays eggs that hatch Spiderlings after a few seconds
Every 6 seconds, it deposits an egg on the path (no more than 4 eggs at once), never near the exit; every egg hatches after 5 seconds into 3 Spiderlings (4 on Impossible), which grant no gold.
Tainted Wolf · Dodges attacks
It can dodge each melee attack with a 40% chance (55% on Impossible).
Troll Chieftain · Increases nearby trolls' speed and damage
Every 20 seconds (14 on Impossible), if at least 3 enemies are within a radius of 100, it beats its war drum, causing those enemies to deal 1.33x damage and move at 1.33x speed for 8 seconds; the effect applies to any enemy in range, not just trolls.
Troll Crusher · Stuns nearby towers
Every 30 seconds (20 on Impossible), it pounds the ground, dealing 40-60 physical damage to units within a radius of 70 and stunning towers within a radius of 150 for 6 seconds.
Vez'nan · His arrival
Upon his arrival, soldiers are instantly killed (summons that cannot be instantly killed survive), heroes get stunned for 14 seconds, and he restores to his full health of 5,999 / 6,999 / 7,999 / 9,999 on Casual / Normal / Veteran / Impossible.
Worg · Dodges attacks
It can dodge each melee attack with a 30% chance (50% on Impossible).
Wulf · Dodges attacks
It can dodge each melee attack with a 30% chance (50% on Impossible).
Getting there
- Unlock: 60 stars. The campaign alone pays up to 54, so a few wins in the other modes are needed; the stars page adds them up.
- Levels first: the extra XP only helps once you are winning there. Heroes and spells that lag behind your best ones earn double XP anyway, so bring them up on Veteran before switching; the XP planner shows how far each one has to go.
- Pick towers for the enemy, not the damage number. The armored and magic-proof enemies are where Impossible stages are lost; hardest enemies pairs each with the towers that get through.
- The badge: Supreme War Leader (complete the campaign on impossible difficulty), held by 1.1% of Steam players.

Every other stage has the same kind of run on its own page, next to a separate three-star walkthrough: start from the stage list.
