Kingdom Rush 6 on Google Play Pass

Yes, it is on Play Pass now. Play Pass games come without in-app purchases, and players on it report that the 8 heroes, 5 towers and 5 spells the paid Android app sells unlock with stars instead, the way Steam does it. Without Play Pass, the Google Play listing is still the $6.99 app with purchases inside.

Play Pass gives you everything for as long as you subscribe; the paid app and Steam are one-off purchases you keep. The price page adds up what finishing the collection costs in the paid app.

What Play Pass opens with stars instead of money

These are the ones the paid app sells. On Play Pass none of them has a price; each waits for enough stars.

The campaign pays up to 54 stars, and most of the other modes add one per win, so the dearest unlocks come from playing those modes rather than replaying stages. Stars and unlocks lists what each one costs on Steam, and the star planner shows what your total opens next.

Bought heroes or towers before it joined Play Pass?

A few Android players who bought items in the paid app before the switch report that some of them now show as locked behind stars. If something you paid for is locked, write to support@ironhidegames.com with your Google Play receipt; at least one player’s refund request through Google was turned down. The crash and save page shows where your progress is kept.

Is there a Play Pass for iPhone?

No, Play Pass is Android only. Apple’s subscription is Apple Arcade, and Kingdom Rush 6 is not on it yet: on iPhone and iPad it is the paid App Store app. Kingdom Rush 6 and Apple Arcade has how long the earlier games took to get there.

Getting it

Open the Play Store on your Android phone or tablet and subscribe to Play Pass from the account menu.
Search for Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis. With an active subscription the listing offers it through Play Pass instead of at $6.99.
Install it and play; there is nothing to buy inside.

Only the Play Store copy is official. APK files from other sites are not from Ironhide; the iPhone and Android page covers that and the device requirements.
